Also, Master Crash, being Gay is not a mental disorder. Saying something like that is cruel. Maybe you have a mental disorder for believing in that dumb theory.
It seems the most logical explanation, which led me to believe it, i wouldn't know any other reason why someone would like another person of the same gender. But now, i'll go ahead and apologize, i never meant to be cruel in anyway. But, you suggesting that i have a mental disorder doesn't make you any better :l

And Caleb, you have to look at it from your parent's prospective, how would you feel if your son told you, that they were homosexual? When of course, as a parent you have high expectations from them.
Back in the 80's, people did believed that homosexuality was a mental disorder. Anyone who said that they were L/G/B/T was usually sent to a mental hospital to be "cured." This way of "curing" people was the reason not many L/G/B/T people didn't come out in the 80's.(If you've seen the movie "Milk" you would understand a bit more) Some people who were under "treatment" would commit suicide because they couldn't be who they were or be with the ones they loved. Around the mid 90's, scientist confirmed that homosexuality was not a mental disorder, nor was it a disease.(this was also a common belief) So, Master Crash, even if it seems "logical" to you, the fact is that this belief was proven wrong almost 10 years ago. I just need to tell you that.

Also, in recent years the standards for the "American Dream" have fallen. Kids at the age of 13 are getting pregnant, more people drop out of school each year, every minute 3 more people become drug addicts, and 3 out of 5 teens are in an abusive relationship. With all of these problems, a lot of parents have rethought this so called "American Dream." Yes, if a son went up his parents and said that he was gay there would still be shocked and confused, but as long as they can accept him should it really matter?

Well, i don't really support homosexuality, i know it's a mental disorder and all. But i don't hate the person, just what they... You know. But anyway, Jenn, whatever you decide, i'll support you for it, and won't see you any other way :)
*censored.3.0* you.. It is not a mental disorder

I don't really see why some people are against that. It's pefectly fine to be bi.

The only time I have hated a homosexual or bisexual person is when they like me(and for bisexuals, only when they are the same gender and like me)

Sorry about that... I remember someone i trusted alot told me that.. Yeah i get it, i was wrong. So go ahead, maul my head off, yell at me, do whatever.

... Why do people have such a problem with this? Maybe this happens because of autism. You like a boy/girl and then you are too nervous to ask them sooo you just have an easier time with your own gender and turn bi.

everyone should go live their lives and eat jellybeans. my person opinion is that if you have to think about it too hard... you're not gay, or bi, or whatever you think you are. attraction is something that naturally happens, not something you have to debate about with yourself for long periods of time, lol. i think females have a more beautiful body structure than a man's, but i'm nowhere near being a lesbian or gay. if this is what you guys are contemplating, it's ok to think someone is attractive or whatever... i dunno. eat some jellybeans and be happy.

Okay, so you HATE a person because they may be attracted to you? Hate is a very strong word, and people can't help who they are attracted too. So you're going to hate someone because of something they can't control? If your not interested just let them know, it's not that big a deal. And most homosexual and bisexual people don't go around hitting on every person they see.

Only Ramen and Mushi cakes make me happy. D=

most people if they say they're against gay or bi people come from christian backgrounds as that's the only religion that i know of (although there are probably more somewhere out there) that doesn't really take too lightly the idea of being gay.

so kind of 2 responses to these kind of people:
1 - if you're christian and don't like the idea of being gay because you've been brought up being told gay and bi people were wrong, and don't like it just for this - think about how the bible says we should live like jesus did. he spent most of his time with prostitutes and tax collectors trying to show them the "right" way through them being open to their way of life while not being condescending and living as an example. you preaching on here about how it's wrong is doing nothing but trying to force feed people literature (that is, if you're christian, which i think anyone against gays have a little bit of a background of) even though you may not be noticing what you're doing.

2. why does everyone have to be so hateful? it's the same response i gave about time travelling... it's their choice and their life, so who are you to choose how they live or don't live it? if it's not effecting you (which someone being gay or bi definately is not and i'm awaiting the DUH IT DOES EFFECT ME BECAUSE BLUHHH...). i don't see a post written from gay people about how straight people have mental disorders and they live wrong because they limit themselves to only 1 sex of the human race, so who are you to poke your head in and do the same? how would you see if gay or bi people said the things you've said about them to you?

why care about what THEY are doing and give the negative comments like i've seen in this thread? it only shows 2 things - that you're not happy with your life so you're picking at other peoples' lives trying to make them feel like you, or maybe you're also gay and jealous that they can finally break out of the shell that you're still stuck in.
