Why do void villagers always plot their stupid house in my hybrids? That took me 3 months to buy from people? Urghhghggghhhhhh....... Now I have to re-buy them, AGAIN. Great... Great.

It's always good to keep a few pairs on the beach so villagers don't trample them :')

That's why I always make sure to start up a new character whenever I have less than 10 villagers after a trade or letting people adopt a villager. I'm sorry for your loss :( Best of luck getting hybrids again :)

I am breeding for some black roses now and I got so anxious that a new villager would just make their house right in the middle of all of it.

A good way to stop this from happening is breed them near the edge of cliffs, you don't find villagers living near cliffs at all. ^o^/

you would be surprised that there is a villager near a cliff in my cycling town

I keep my hybrids on the beach until i get all 10 of my permanent villagers in my town, i have 7/10 of those right now, once i get all of them i'll start the landscaping.

yep. this is how I do it. works fine!
most of the time villagers don't hang out on the beach so you don't have to worry as much about villagers watering the wrong ones.

That sucks. ; n ; Merengue moved into a bunch in my old town, but I had grown them myself and she was only on the edge of the hybrids, so I was fine with it. I made sure to put a public works project in my hybrids that looked nice (so it didn't look crowded) and that prevented any other villagers from moving there. My town hall was nearby too, so there wasn't any room for the villagers to trample anything. :>

The beach is also a great place for hybrids, at least until you have the villager house placement down. ?・ᴗ・`

My Bruce and Bam hangs out at the beach all the time :<
That's where I keep my hybrids too.

Crazy goat Pashmina did that to me too. It's obviously an oversight in programming not to protect hard work by simply having animals put houses anyplace. However, I did figure out that if you grow within 2 spaces of a cliff or a PWP, the villagers will never destroy them- those things were programmed into the game. So, trying to use some imagination, and say it's because your fields were so attractive that the villager just HAD to put their house there, because the scent of those hybrids were something they wanted to wake up to everyday! :)
