After 2 years, I discovered this...

Ok...

I recently discovered how each music player sounds different. You'll obviously need good headphones or speakers to notice the difference. Stereos have more bass response while the phonograph/record players are static-y. The hi-fi stereo in particular sounds the best in terms of sound quality.

Nice touch Nintendo!

Who else noticed this?

Lol, I also only discovered this only last week when I started using headphones.
My son bought himself very good yet inexpensive headphones and I asked for one. The sound quality is fantastic but was surprised at the different sounds and responses from the different music players!

I noticed it with the phonograph, but not as much with the others.
Ch?vre just gave me her high end stereo last night out of the blue, now I want to listen to them all

Added note, the audio quality on the 'New' 3DSXL is out of this world! The first time I put on headphones it made fishing in the rain an incredible experience!

I wasn't aware of the differences in audio playback on the different stereos, but it's always great to learn something new.

I guess that's what I get for always playing on low volume, without headphones, in noisy rooms.

I think I'll find my headphones and test it out for myself.

ohhh maaan wowza i didnt notice at all!!!! well... probably because i just use the lily record player in all my rooms hahah

It was very noticeable to me about a month or two in. Like how the record player and turntable make those crackly noises, the tape deck (at least in the campsite) sounds distant-ish, and the stereos are for the most part clear and crisp.

i dont see a reason to ever notice something like that. I'm actually surprised game developers actually took the time to invest in such a small details. That's awesome.
