So i am currently considering deleting my town as i do not like the location of alot of the buildings and (most of all) the 10 rocks everywhere in town making it very hard to make good paths as the rocks always get right in the way. I dont know if i should as im preety far with the unlocks (have almost everything unlocked for the main plaza) have most of the museum filled up but still dont have even the police station unlocked and a bunch of the playcoin items. Im just unsure on what i should do. Should i upload the town to the dream address first after i pay it off or just delete?

I would delete it and map-roll for a bit until you're positive you could make that one work. When you're map rolling place where you want your PWPs to go, so when it's time to build them you aren't struggling to find a place for them.

I've restarted when I was far in the game and hated doing everything over again, but I'm really glad I did because my current town looks amazing in my opinion.

You can always transfer your items over to your new town to give you a tiny head start as far as the loans for your house go. I know there are people on here that'd be willing to help you with it.

ive not heard that term before pwp. What does that mean? I just dont like the way the rocks are in all the right spots to make it almost impossible to make paths

The projects that you build once villagers request them to Isabelle, like the Cafe and campsite, bridges, etc. I know it really sucks when you're picking a map because they don't show where the rocks are. The rock placement has screwed me up in every town I've had but you learn to roll with the punches.

Have you tried mixing paths? That's what I'm currently trying to do. My main "road" is 2 tiles but I'm looking for a pattern that's only 1 tile so I'm not making my paths all weird due to avoiding rocks, houses, trees, etc.

I actully only learned about the whole pathways being done very recently, and i havent really found any design paths that i really like yet. At least none that are 2 tiles wide as the good ones ive seen are 3 tiles wide. And if I astart over itll be at least a week-10 days before i can start getting them again with the qr machine right?

Yeah. But to be honest you may want to cycle through the 10 days not just with your mayor, but with an extra character or two. It's best to knock out the QR machine on all the characters you know you're going to want in your town all at the same time, rather than once you have villagers you don't want to leave ending up in a TTing accident because they didn't tell you they were moving.

The paths with 3 tiles are always large so if you're for certain going to use one, make at least a 2nd character to carry most of the patterns. Hell, my two tile road requires an entire character for all the pieces.
