Advice on Police Station & Cafe Placement

It's only my 10th day on my new town so obviously it will take a long time before i get these two buildings, but since they are permanent, i just wanted advice in advance, on where i should place both of these

This is my town map, what do you think of it?
and where would you put the cafe and station

I think the cafe would look nice next to your train entrance, a bit above where one of the villager houses is at the moment (the one diagonally-right above the pond) so that there's one square behind it

For the police station, are you putting down paths in your town? It would look nice along a horizontal path. Maybe next to retail/below town hall area

I think close to event plaza would be fitting for a cafe personally. V_V Always been against cafes near trains. For Police station I'd put it right next to mayor house but there's a villager there. .-.

I'd put the Police station in that big open space and the Cafe down on the other side of the bridge so it's got an ocean view. I went for max river when choosing my town layout though so you may not want to take my advice

I like the idea of having the police station by the train station to prevent crime. Plus, they would technically see everyone who goes in/out. It doesn't really serve an actual use though. I'm really fond of by the cliff/beach cafes, but ultimately I think where you build the cafe you should have plenty of space. So the huge spot of nothing could be a good spot for the cafe.

Cafe to the left of the train station, police station to the right of the train station.

I would put the police station on the right side of the town hall. If the villager living there is permanent then I would try to squeeze it on the left side so it's in between the train station area and town hall.

I love having my cafe beside the ocean cliff, so somewhere along the right side cliff or below the event plaza would be my choices!

Right below the event plaza would be a great place for the cafe; it's at the center hub, and has a nice ocean view. The police station, on the other hand, has a lot of places going for it. I would personally put it by an already built structure- namely, the town hall, Re-Tail, and the train station.
