advice on letting a villager move?

dotty wants to leave my town and whilst she was one of my dreamies months ago, i am getting a bit bored of having the same villagers and blanche just won't budge so maybe letting someone else move might make it easier for her to go? (i dunno man i'm getting desperate at this point lol). if i were to let any of my current villagers go, it'd probably be either dotty or mitzi.
problem is, i just dunno who to replace her with, and after months of not having to search for villagers, the thought of spending ages on tumblr/forums to look for villagers and then plot resetting doesn't sound fun. i really like dotty's house placement too, and what are the chances of a new villager moving in the exact same spot?
should i just let her go and spend some time camper resetting?

That's tough. It's so much work to plot reset and to reload forums trying to find a villager you want.

I'd think about it for a while. Are you really ok with letting her go? Go through the villager lists and think about who you'd replace her with. Remember you'd have to 16 cycle to get her back if you make a poor choice.

if you don't care that much about who replaces her it might be fun to just see what happens through campers…? Up to you! Goodluck deciding, I'm not much help
