Advice on how to do paths ?

Im creating my dream town soon
and before I'm going to input path patterns
and do more public work projects ,
i want your advice .
heres a picture of my map ^^ .

This is a super cute map, I love that the town hall is in the center. I would start with a path going down to connect your train station to your town hall as a sort of 'main street', and make one going left that leads to your town plaza as well. It would be cute if you could get the path to go between those two ponds, in my opinion!

thanks , i do love this map too , i literally said no to most maps when i first got the game . what i dislike is that the rocks are in my way of making my path so i had to restart and make new paths ^^|l . but thats actually a good idea , the ponds are surrounded by black , red , and white roses . and I'm on my third cobblestone bridge . thanks for the advice ! =^>w<^=

I reset a ton for my maps too, and it's always worth it to find juuuust the right layout. I personally love it best when either the plaza or town hall is in the middle, since both of those landmarks are really important, and it just feels fitting that way! :| It's a shame you can never see where the rocks are...

The roses sound really pretty! Taking a look at your town again, I can also say that it would be really cool/relatively easy to do a sort of big t in the top part that connects everything (station, plaza, town hall, and cafe). Do you think you'll path to the individual houses as well?

yeah , but why not take a look in my dream town actually ? it's in my signature . I still got to work on those public work projects to make it look better . č;

What I did to my town was make a path that led to everywhere, every building and "place" like the beach, mainstreet, and special pwps

What kind of paths/set are you planning to use? Like brick pathways or something more that you can lay down to surround a building such as grass?

You can make the paths lead to most buildings and the beaches, but leave some large areas open and free of things in case you want to put a PWP or eventually have villagers move in and out; I can see you don't have your 10th villager yet?

I have my campsite near the path, but not directly connected to it because I wanted it to blend into a forest/natural-like area.

This is what I would do, though I don't know the exact spacing so some things might now work out. Sorry it's a little messy!

I was going to a stone path kind of thing where you don't need those specific angles/corners .
