Advice needed for getting villagers to accept wallpaper.

I really - really hate Phoebe's wallpaper. She has such beautiful furniture and the backgammon paper doesn't go with it at all. I keep mailing her nicer wallpaper, and although she responds with kind words, when I go to visit her that same fubugly wall is staring at me.

Can you influence the wallpaper like you can the furniture? Does a friendship level have to be high enough, or is she just being stubborn?

Haha, yes, you can change their music. But never their wallpaper or floor, sadly. So you'll have to send them furniture that matches it if you really dislike it. :c

To change their music, you can send them CDs and hope they use it. I changed Mira's music once by sending her a wrapped CD. c:

yeah! people always say you can't change their music but I do all the time. and for some reason Lolly in my town doesn't have original wallpaper/floor so idk

It does. xD Probably because she was apparently modeled after Sailor Venus? Forgot where I read this. The music always clashed badly with her astro TV (which I replaced) though, so I sent her new music. :B

If only we could change wallpaper and floorings... I'm pretty sure we could in wild world or city folk though? Correct me if I'm wrong. Maybe it'll be included in the next game<3
