advice needed for breeding!

I want to have a lot of pink, purple and blue flowers, mostly roses.
And buying all of them is kinda expensive so I want to breed them myself. I only need some advice breeding them.
I do have the golden watering can and beautiful town ordiance.
Do I need to put the flowers next to eachother or diagonal(sorry dont know how to write it xd )
And wich color combination wil bring me pink, purple and blue roses?


(If I need hybrids to breed more hybrids I would like to borrow them and bring them back when I have them myself:$)

Diagonal worked the best for me and got me a lot of pink roses in turn. Blue ones just require some more patience because you need to pay attention to the kind of "parents" the flowers you're breeding have.

Keep in mind that since you've enabled the beautiful town ordinance, it also means that your villagers might plant their own flowers anywhere, so watch out for that! If you're not careful, you might forget where you planted the red roses (or whichever combination you decide to use) to create the blue ones. (That's like, my main problem so I haven't been able to get any blue roses yet sob).

(White x Red), (White x White) have consistently given me pink ones at the start.
As for purple, (Red x White) works, but according to some sites, (White x White) will work too.

I took my town of Beautiful Ordinance for weeding recently, so I have a lot of wilted flowers. (I put it back on though, so I'll check for colors when I can TT again and see if I can lend you some). I have some pink ones at the moment though if you'd like.

Thanks fizzi thats a very helpfull link! But it says you have the best change with hybrids and I dont have any xd lol.
Yeah fukurodani becaue of the beautiful town they are all planting flowers all over the place.. xd
Yeah if I can borrow some hybrids that would be great!!

I also suggest breeding your hybrids on your beach to avoid villagers moving on top of them if you dont plot reset.

Plant them where hybrids grow a lot.
In my 2nd town I would find a lot of new hybrids by city hall.
In my main town there were two spots on the beach where they grew like weeds.
That's where I tried to get blue roses. It took awhile but they grow like weeds.
If they start to slow do take three and put them in a different spot. When I did this I got 2 new blue roses.

I did diagonal or checkboard pattern for the maybe red rose. I followed the orange/purple rose set up in The Forbidden Blue Rose Youtube. Every day I would find a maybe red rose, a pink or a black rose.

If you plant on the beach you do have to check on your villagers. They will plant on the beach if you spend time down there.
Make sure to remove all flowers from the empty spots before quitting for the day.
One night 3 villager were planting while I was fishing. By the end of the night I removed 2 pockets full of flowers. The next day the blue rose was there.
