Advice for villagers

Kinda new to the game, looking for friendly, upbeat villagers, my fave's at the moment are Annabelle, Marshall and Bertha

Are you looking for villagers with similar personalities or different.

Two of my favorites which aren't very high tier, but I think are still good are Lopez (Smug Personality; Same personality as Marshal) and Mint (I personally am not a fan of snooty villagers, but Mint is an exception for me). And again that's just my opinion. I'd like to say that you can't force yourself to like a certain villager, which I personally have found to be true, so the villagers other people including myself suggest to you may not be what you would prefer.
