I?m conflicted between decorating my top floor bedroom with the gorgeous series or rococo set? What do you all say?

What sets are in the rest of your house?
If you're more in the realm of antique, I'd suggest rococo, gorgeous is more on the modern/posh side.

I dislike the regular Rococo set. If you are going to use it I suggest going with the Pink Recolor, it makes it look the cutest~!

I was thinking of a modern castle type thing with a blend of modern furniture that worked with the rococo set.

If it's going to be more modern, I'd then suggest the gorgeous set. :)
I wouldn't doubt you could make it work with rococo even if you changed your mind!

And I am in LOVE with gothic yellow, I matched it for my music room with a white piano and regal chair, or a harpsichord. Not sure about the string instrument to use.

Well for a more modern castle, I'd suggest gorgeous as well. Rococo has a more Victorian older age feel to it.

I think Gorgeous would work nicer with the theme you stated. Plus, Rococo is overused in my opinion, so having Gorgeous could make your home a bit more distinct.

I love both furniture sets, but I agree that the Gorgeous set seems like it would work better with your theme.

Does the Rococo series and Gorgeous series look well together? If so, then why not use both in the room? Just a suggestion!

Personally I think their styles clash too much. They might work together, but it will probably be difficult.

If you want a good series to mix Gorgeous with, I find that the Sleek series works really well. As for the Rococo series, there are a lot of various items of no particular series that I think can go really well, such as the vases or Museum set.

Knowing that you are pursuing a more modern castle, I definitely agree with everyone else on the Gorgeous Series. It just has a way more modern feel to it plus the set is rarer in general since it is more expensive to acquire (who doesn't like rare stuff? xD). :)

There are options of refurbishing.

I don't think I would mix the upholstered furniture from the two sets, but using the Rococo chairs and sofa refurbished to gothic black with the Gorgeous tables and desk or something might work.

I find the gorgeous set to be very versatile due to its color scheme. My Asian-inspired house has the gorgeous wall and floor alongside refurbished exotic furniture (black and red) and it looks solid. Rococo tends to look good in especially girly pastel towns, in my opinion.
