Advice For Me: I'm Getting My First Camper Tomorrow

So I'm really nervous for this first camper tomorrow. I heard that I have to invite them NO MATTER WHAT. I've also heard the camper is mostly Smug (I believe a glitch causes the other personalities.) Let's just say there are some really good Smug villagers like Julian, Marshal, and Raymond, but there are some bad ones (Yes, I'm looking at you, Lucha.) How did you guy deal with this first camper? Any advice for me? (By the way, I wore Raymond's outfit for good luck! )

It is true that you have no choice to invite, unfortunately. I got lucky and didn't get an ugly, but my mom and my friend both got a really ugly hamster whos name escapes me.

I would say goodluck and go with the flow. You have other chances afterwards. My first camper was Ken and I like him very much. His house is equally great too!

I got Quillson. Not entirely a favourite for smug villagers for me. I was alright with him at first, until he decided he wanted to have a strange obsession with crafting golden candlesticks practically every other day.

Honestly, there are a lot of villagers I'm not fond of but I'm just taking it as they come.

I ended up with Lionel, but I have no desire for a second lion in my village. I'm just ignoring him until he moves.

I actually think Rodney is kind of cute. I have Hamlet already though, so I wouldn't want any repeat animal types unless they're really good.

I wanted Zell the Oryix who is part of the male deer species group but instead I got a hamster than Graham. He not bad. I ignore him for the first day as I was so mad that I didn't play that day. Then the next day I visit his house and he was crafting so I had to get the recipes. Then 2 days later he was in conversation with Fuchsia and it made me laugh so hard and nnow I grown to like/tolerate him. In fact I like him more than some of my villager, even more so than good looking one like Bianca, Cookie, Stu, Celia, and Billy. I gave him a vampire suit and now he kind of adorable. He so smug that the first time I came over he refer me as a "friend" as if I'm that easy lol.

I will eventually get rid of him but I have other villagers I need to get rid off first. I don't like short villagers.

When I see him packing, I'll stick him up as a giveaway. I don't know when that'll be, though, as he just moved in yesterday.

I personally just think he's hideous I have a handful of villagers I don't like and he happens to be one of them To be fair though, I have never had him so I don't really know his personality.

Yup NL personality was so boring that I grew attach to Hamphrey. I totally take him over Graham though. Just glad I didn't get Quillson and I have no idea what Rodney look like. I keep confusing Rodney with Rod and when people say Rodney is ugly, I'm thinking Rod the mouse is not ugly.

Ugh, I had Quillson as a starter villager in NL. He. would. not. move. There was so much hate going towards his direction lol
