May I please have him? :3

Thanks for your post! Someone on Reddit is trying to pick Clay up at the moment, but their router doesn't seem to agree with my town. They're going to try one more time and if it doesn't work, you're welcome to Clay before I go offline. I'll keep this thread updated, shouldn't be long before I know if this guy is able to take Clay or not!

Ah, okay. Well, best of luck to him ^^ I was having wifi troubles yesterday. It was aggravating, although it was probably because I'm kind of impatient ^^;

By the way, I've never picked up a villager from another town before. Stupid question, but do I just talk to him until the dialogue about my town comes up?

The guy on Reddit was able to take Clay, sorry about that! But thanks for your interested, I'd of hated to see Clay without a home.
To answer your question: You need to have 9 villagers or less to adopt a new villager from another town, so when you visit another town to pick up a new villager who is in boxes, you talk to that villager and they will say some dialogue about them moving out but having nowhere to go. Then you will have the option of inviting them to your town. They'll accept, and then it's all good providing that the game is saved/the session ends correctly! The next day their plot will appear in your town. Hope that helps! :)

Closing thread as Clay has been adopted on Reddit!
