Any one else find themselves having a hard time putting down New Leaf? I do. I need to break this habit, and work on other games I have been meaning to finish. Such as Dragon Quest IX, Okamiden (sequel to my all time favorite game), Pok?mon X (I still need to finish raising team of Greninja, Blaziken, Shiny Arcanine, Roseraid, Azumarill, and Espeon up to LV100!), Kingdom Hearts Dream Drop Distance, and building more toy boxes in Disney Infinity.

Is there anything that New Leaf has been Distracting you from?

I literally play Animal Crossing almost every hour of the day; even in school. So, I'm an official addict ; n ;.

Me too, I've been checking my town almost everyday.
Sometimes I think it's just my competitive-ness for having a really beautiful town kicking in xD

it's strange, even when there is nothing to do in the game i still find myself playing it... and i've been meaning to play pokemon x as well, i just got the game last thursday and haven't even touched it because of ac, lmao.

it is very addicting, partially because there are so many different things you can do in it and so many ways to customize it…!

I guess set a timer to limit yourself? Or don't start playing till you get your homework or work or errands done?

Every time i get on i want to get off sorry.

I am really bad about AC too, since I got it I always forget to play my Pokemon X game but today when I checked in after not playing forever I got 2 shiny pokemon in the friend safari within an hour :)

Friend Safari is where I got my Shiny Arcanine. In fact it was the VERY FIRST Pok?mon I found in the Friend Safari. I also got my Greninja and Espeon there (They have their hidden abilities)

I really do feel bad about not spending time with my Pok?mon.......CURSE YOU NEW LEAF!!!

I always make it a point to check in whenever I have a bad day. I don't play it on school days for that long since I have other things to do, but it's the best pick me up on a bad day.
Except when the day goes bad and then I get on and it's raining and I have to find all the gyroids and :'(

I actually got New Leaf just so I can download Pokemon Y for free. Now I barely even touched the game after picking up AC.

I was obsessed back in September but it died down...
But now it's back and I play it everyday now it's kinda terrible.

It's...I definitely look forward to it every day but homework stuff likes to take me away (grumbles heavily)

I actually got Pokemon Y before ACNL! I ran through it in around a week or so, and since I'm non-competitive, all I had been doing was shiny hunting for my friends before I picked up ACNL. I miss it a little but time freezes in that game so haha...

I ABSOLUTELY burned my brain with constant almost non-stop ACNL since the release until Pokemon X was released, I ended up officialy going on an AC hiatus on Novemeber but now Im back and I think the addiction is growing strong again...

I actualy spent most of today being EXTREMELY sleepy because I played ACNL until like 2AM in the morning, and I had to wake up at 5:20. I SLEPT LIKE 2 HOURS and the rest just kinda sprawled around random naps trough this whole day.

Just to plot reset for Zell.

And then I started the game with my Mayor by accident...

I seriously had to controll myself from screaming and waking everyone up..

Thankfuly I managed to work my way around Zell?s accidental placement so its all good :P

I used to play it for 3-5 hours in the holidays, but now it can be from 15-1 hour...since y'know...school...

I still check up on it, but on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, I try to get a lot of things done throughout my game.
I don't know what I'd do if my data got corrupted o_o

Whether I am busy or not, I will check my town everyday without fail =x maybe because I am afraid of unnoticed move out ><

I've been a bit less into ACNL lately, but I'm still opening it every day to take care of the town and I can't see that stopping anytime soon. A villager is about to leave though so when she vacates the area I've had my eye on, I've got some big landscaping stuff planned and will probably be playing a lot again.

Pokemon's my main time sink lol

Yes! I think I am also in the addict category, although I consider it normal because I have not had the game for a very long time.
Ialways get like this with new games, I play NON STOP for the first few months,
then I gradually let go and just play a little bit dail/once in a while.
Some I will then stop playing, others I will keep playing a little for yeeeaaars.

Nope. I put it down for about 3 months to play other games. I just TTed back to the day I last played and TTed a day or 2 after that until I was caught up.
