I regret the day I started Time Traveling because I really lost the way the game is meant normally...

I need some help to find a way for me to stop time traveling and just play the game normal!

I reset numerous times to get the right layout, villagers or fruit..but even when I get awesome ones I always end up restarting again.

I have two towns...one that is my "main town" where I have villagers from my very first town and others that I love..and I don't time travel on there unless it's necessary.

But my other cartidge is just en extra to have fun with...Maybe I should make a themed town or try to get all one species of villagers? I don't know but I guess I just need ideas for the second town or a way to stop TTing and just let this one run its course like when I first got it in June :/

Try this :

Whenever you time travel, you throw 99 000 bells in a trash can/ send them to your villagers.

That's a goodway to stop yourself. Unless you like to break the rules. You can also just drop 10 000 bells per time travelling you have done.

Haha yea that's a good idea LOL the thought of TTing now seems a little less worth it haha

Take note :

For this to work, you have to be strict with yourself, or else you will still have that feeling to TT. Kinda like a diet, but time travelling diet.
I am not responsible for any loss of money in your Bank Account :3

Hahaha I hear ya! The blame won't be put on you, don't worry xD

Love your siggy btw!

What got me to stop TTing was when I noticed I hardly ever got visitors in my campsite. Then I found out that is one of the bad side effects of TTing. To me the campers are one of the most fun parts of the game so I stopped then and there!

Aww Yookey is sick? Poor girl :( I will send her my well wishes!

And wow I didn't know that about the campsite! I definitely love that whole concept so that puts a downer on TTing for sure!

tt is totally worth it
id rather play a month in a day than playing one day per day but thats just my opinion. tt doesnt mean you arent playing the game ''normally'' so i wouldnt stop anyway.

if you are desperate to stop though, try playing AC less [this is super hard uh what a cr4p idea sorry], when i play AC less i don't tt so eh but otherwise idk

the reason I try not to TT much is that I feel like if I just do 5 PWP in the same day, etc,… then I will run out of nice things to do in the game and you don't get the anticipation of waiting till the next day for something to arrive or a bush to grow, etc.

I TT'd to get my dream villagers in… but I'm trying not to TT past a day now. I will sometimes TT to 11am so that all my villagers and shops are awake since I have limited time to play, but I'm trying not to TT too much past that and stay on the current date as much as possible. I worry that I'll get bored of the game too fast and it'll be over and I really really like this game! So I don't want that to happen, so not TT-ing much draws that out so you have fun longer, IMHO.
