So I know this isn't New Horizons related, but it is related sort of, I guess..
You know back in New Leaf, people would sometimes sell off hacked blue roses, and they never grew new blue roses because they were hacked? Well...
With the recent datamine of New Horizons confirming that flowers in New Leaf/New Horizons have a massive genetics system in place, it dawned on me that the reason those blue roses never spawned new ones was because they didn't have the genetics to spawn new ones, they were literally blank flowers, likely with no genetics tied to them. They were literally coloured blue! XD
