ACNL Welcome Amiibo Cards - Series 5? Impossible to Find!

I bought them one at a time from a dude on Ebay. He gave me several good deals, and now I have all 50.

It cost around $150.
It was worth it, when I see the absurd prices from other sellers, for single cards.

It's really sad that a kid's card game was scalped so terribly. I mean I don't expect much more from people, but they're still pretty scummy to stoop so low, so that something targeted to kids can't even be obtained by them.

It's not just kids though.
There are more adults playing AC than kids I reckon, but yeah.. it does suck the way people take advantage of others, knowing the cards are hard to find, and charging, in some cases, over $100 for a single card. O_O

I am lucky I found my card dealer (lol) on Ebay, in my country, with reasonable prices. ^_^

I just went on Ebay right now and bought all the cards for my favorite villagers if they ever move out. I found them all for like $1 each on some dudes page.

Yeah, I've paid as little as $2 for a series 5 card, and the most (before I found my dealer) $28. O_O

I know, that's terrible, but $17 of that was postage, which is ridiculous, when other sellers charge $2 postage.

That was one bad experience though.

It isn't fair that scalpers control the Welcome Amiibo card market. I've seen on Amazon cards going for $50 or more for a single card.

They are fanmade, but they still work (which is all that really matters to me) and are cheap. ^^ I have 5...

I just found the set on Etsy and one was more than the real set! $265!! O_O

Edit, I missed some of the posts that talked about Ebay. When I got them, I got most in a set, and it wasn't to bad a price. It did take a lot of looking though not to pay way to much.
