I have been playing this game regularly for three years now, and I am still learning new things about it every day. It's why I keep playing!
I'll never forget the moment I realized that if you have a song playing on a stereo or phonograph, then any musical instrument you have in the room will harmonize with that song when you interact with it. I was over the moon with that discovery.
I was also very amused when I learned you can put coins in the piggy bank (though less amused when I realized that money was gone forever, haha.)
I recently learned about tanning - I guess I wasn't playing during the day the past few summers, but this year I am as bronze as can be. So neat!
I also recently learned that if a villager is napping on a stump, you can whack them over the head with your net and it will startle them awake. It's adorable. (I did it by accident the first time, but then I did it again later on purpose because it's so cute.)
What are some of the little details of this game that you discovered and were surprised by?
