Suggestion for the next Animal crossing, or a feature added in incoming updates (If they can do that)? When Isabelle will load you up and you click "I need help first", there could be an option for "I lost a loved one/friend" Then Isabelle has a shocked reaction and replies "who?" (Options: Friend, Dad, Mom, Sister etc) And after you get out of your house Isabelle will take you to the plaza and your residents will have a little ceremony in honor of them :) During that Isabelle could give you an exclusive item that differs between who you lost. (ie: Friendship bracelet, #1 Dad mug, etc)

Thoughts?

I don't want to have ceremonies for losing loved ones. This is supposed to a happy, relaxing game. I don't want real life problems addressed in Animal Crossing.

that seems like a good idea, except for the exclusive items. i feel like people would misuse the feature just to get the items.

i feel like the method could be different too. as mayors, we should plan our own events! it'd be nice to hold a memorial or something happier like an anniversary party. that might be too complicated for the game, though. :c

if there's anything they need to add to the game it's more dialog for each personality type.

Yeah I guess your right. Unless they're normally sold in stores but rarer than usual items.

this is true! death seems a little too serious for a game like this, but i still stick to what i said about mayors planning events!

I love how the villagers were always talking to each other in Wild World. They rarely have conversations in New Leaf. I really miss that. But, yes, we definitely need more dialog!
