I was really bored so I made up a backstory about my mayor, Bee. Have you done that? If so, what was it?

yeah my Mayor has a little story, and so does everybody else in my town, but my fave story is one of my other players, Mike. I don't know why i like it so much i just do

The backstory for my mayor is basically that I have carried on the same character from town to town since I started playing Animal Crossing when I was 7. At first, she moved to a town called "alaska" and then her friend Lily moved, so she moved to Luctown. She lived in Luctown for a long time but felt there was something missing, and moved to Starlite. In Starlite, she became very close with her friends until one day, they all just up and left her, one by one. She ventured on a train to try to find them and ended up in Bluebell, and was mistaken for mayor. Her old friends came and went, but as she built her town into something beautiful, she realized that her new friends were the ones worth keeping.

The Pit from New Leaf is basically the same one from Wild World.
Pit got injured in the Old Smashville Massacre, and was sent into a coma for months. When he woke up, he found himself on a train with Rover. He also met some new friends, none of whom were Pecan, Nibbles, or Walker. But he did befriend some others. Namely Biskit (RIP), Beardo, and Penelope.

Mine is kind of boring, but Bee is an 18 year old who loves travelling. She went from town to town, changing her name and look (I've always wanted to do that) until she found somewhere she could just be Bee. That place was Rainwood.

Hmmm... Alright, here we go. Back story time.
Mayor Eric was a simple-minded young man with big dreams of becoming a world renowned juggler. One day, he received a letter from the mayor of a distant town called Ohano, who hoped to hire him as entertainment for their annual fair. So Eric stepped on the next train.
Unfortunately, Eric is a rather foolish young man and got off at the wrong stop: the lovely little town of Ohana. These kind, trusting folk were expecting their new mayor on the very same day, and thus assumed Eric, who is extremely unqualified for any sort of political position, was the new mayor. Thinking he could at least get some free sandwiches out of it, Eric accepted this job without questioning his ability to govern a town. To this day, Mayor Eric has no idea why he got on the train to begin with.
Ohano never did get their juggler. The fair was very boring.

Hannah is litlle girl living in Texas, she decided to make some cheese in Sweden. She traveled by boat but then a plain crashed in the sea and hannah thought oh no! Maybe I should help the people out of the plain. Weird animals came out of the plain and Hannah was like: Who are u.. wtf! She became blind because she saw Diva swimming around.. A phoenix and a tangerine told Hannah about their lives in Animal Crossing. Hannah asked if she could make cheese there so the animals said yes. They took Hannah to Lura and asked her to make cheese. She made some incredible cheese so the residents asked her to be their mayor. Hannah said sure.. Prince did an eye surgery and he put some bandage on her face. Now Hannah is the mayor of Lura.

Same! You can't just say you made one and then not share it
(watch it be posted in this thread already and I'm just missing it by combing through the first page...)No backstory behind my mayor. But then again, I don't come up with backstories for my characters in more immersive fantasy RPGs like Dragon Age and whatnot so that's not really surprising for me. I applaud people who put that amount of thought into this and make some big narrative though, it's just not something I personally do.
Adventurer "No name" was hiding out in the mountains from the townspeople of the last place she had scavenged. She was cold and alone. She was scared. There was no shelter, no food, nothing. All she had was a black cloak, with a hood. One day whilst walking back down the mountains, she came to a little cliff overlooking another town. She scouted the town. Examining it. She noticed something quite peculiar. The townspeople were animals...walking and talking animals. She couldn't believe her eyes or her ears. She watched the town for days. No sign of human life anywhere. She was aghast but intrigued, all the while. She decided she needed a closer look, and maybe she could stay there for a while. She had noticed days before that there was a train that came in at certain times. She kept track and stowed away in the train cart one day. Once she exited the train station, she was taken aback by three of the residents and one she had not seen before. They greeted her with open arms. Never before had she experienced such a friendly encounter. They noted the dirt that covered her face and her black cloak, and they dubbed her Mayor Shadow. They consulted her to name their humble little town, for it had yet to be named. Because there were no human life forms here, it had not been discovered, until now. So, she decided to call that land 'LostLand'.

Not my mayor, but my other character, Miranda. Miranda used to live in a nearby city, named New York. One day, she decided to get a change of scenery. She and her husband, Mark, packed up bags and traveled to Oak View. Miranda decided to bring her job with her, she was a news woman. Mark did too, he's a gym owner.
