ACNL being glitchy lately?

I've had the villagers telling me they haven't seen all my rooms when they did. I never thought too much of it as I put it down to the personality of that villager, but maybe it is a glitch?

I've had villagers say they didn't see every room in my house in the past. It doesn't happen anymore because now I make a point to talk them at least once in each room. They need to enter the room and not just stand in the doorway for it to count.

This has not happened to me! I have however had some villagers never enter the room or even come near the door to certain rooms. I think it may have to do with furniture placement in my house. But never any complaints of not having visited every room. Strange...

Except for the villager theme thing, that's happened to me. I don't think it takes as long as 40 seconds to load the game but definitely 20 - 30 seconds. As for the villager seeing all the rooms but saying they didn't, that's happened to me multiple times. I don't really care as much about that anymore though

Oh and the villager theme thing happens to me all the time! I only noticed it as I've just been on ACNL and it didn't play for Whitney when it did yesterday.

I've never had any of these things happen to me, even when villagers have visited my house and I didn't show them all of my rooms hm... I also plot reset too, and I've never had any of these glitches.

The town theme plays when you talk to a villager only if you haven't approached them for a while. If you talk to them and right after the conversation is over talk to them again, the theme won't play, if that's the problem you're having.

thought i might mention something interesting. while beetle hunting at tortimer island, the graphics in my game really messed up for a split second. they were completely missing for that split second and i could only see the white 3d models within the game. has anybody experienced glitchy graphic moments like what i have?

actually, the theme does not play even when i havent approached my villagers for a while. this only happened twice, though, but the other problem i have with villager themes is far more common. when i talk to a villager, their theme will either sound higher pitched or lower pitched than usual. it doesnt help that is is happening more and more with each new day.

Those don't sound bad other than the 30-40 second loading time.
I get glitches sometimes but it's just like black lines that show up and then they're gone.

sometimes the villager themes don't play in stores, or at least the nookling stores.

It hasn't happened to me lately, but there were times when I've a villager over to my house and when I go to another room (usually the left room) the villager won't follow me in there. But they treated it like they were in there since they leave after I take them to the last room of my house.

I had an issue which made me put them down for a while (that and being sick and starting school), but one day my game just crashed while I was playing like kicked me out of the game to the home screen and all of my loading screens were taking a long time that day. I don't know if it was my game or if it was because my internet was spotty that day and my 3DS might have been connecting and unconnecting continuously. I haven't played my games since then though. I need to get back into them.

Yeah sometimes, when I push a villager together by accident they go right through them and at my house they don't really follow me to each room but they might have just wanted to hangout and tour? mrmrmrm

if the villager came to your house unexpectedly, they will only stay for a short while and won't follow you into any rooms. but they shouldn't write you a letter about it at all. just so you know

Villager themes only happen one time if you haven't talked to them in a while or if you are talking to them after a different villager. If you talk to the same villager again right after the first time, then it won't play. You have to talk to a different villager for the other villagers theme to reset. Or you can save and continue for the theme to play again. In my opinion, I don't think it's a big deal
