ACNL and 3DS Question?

If you have 2 games Cart. like I do and use the same 3ds for those cart., can you put one of the cart in another 3ds(not original 3ds) and be able to travel to the other original 3ds or do you have to reset one of the towns. I may be getting a second 3ds and want to know the answer before I buy.

No you don't have to reset , You can travel to both towns with 2 3DS

Even though I started both games on the one 3ds. They are cart. not preload. It will work?

Because the info is saved to the physical game cartridge (except for photos, those are saved on the SD card), you can use 1 3ds with 2 physical cartridges. If you then put one of the cartridges into a second 3ds, it will be fine (no town lost). But if you have a Dream Address for that second town on the 1st 3ds, and then try to update it on the second 3ds, you will get a new Dream Address.

Yes, it's possible to travel in between towns as long as you have a system to load each cart. The dream address will be the only change made if you alternate between the 3DS system(s).
