Okay so I got this guide book from future press last week. It's the best: filled with information and lists of all items, clothing, flowers, fish, bugs etc. But... Then today I saw this video about these new updates coming out with art, bushes and possible new furniture. All these new things aren't in the book. Do you think future press will release lists of the new items or are we now stuck with an outdated book?

Well there is a disclaimer in the book wouldn’t include any information from updates. It is unfortunately doesn’t included anything from about the art gallery and stuff. In hindsight they didn’t know that would of gotten delayed for many. Since they going for more “alive” game its hard to keep it update the way they want to it.

I agree that its super odd but I wouldnt say itd be outdated to the point of not being useful or having incorrect information (unless they decide for whatever reason to change certain mechanics mid-game). Consider it like a beginner's guide :O though I dont think it's worth the full retail price. To me, being able to have easy access to at least quite a few things like the flower cross-breeding charts, some npc behaviors, etc is worth it. It's also just fun to have an extra piece of something you like for collecting sake, but it all depends on each person's style

I was a bit hesitant, but I decided to order the guide last night. Right now I've got a ton of open tabs on my phone, and I need to run back and forth each day to be sure I don't already have a certain color variant or KK track. I'm excited to have checklists for all of the base game stuff at least. And hopefully the community will crowdsource a Google doc with anything that's added later. The book looks amazing besides - I can't wait to sit down and flip through it!
