Account Ban Inquiry

Yet the people who have made hundreds of btb using hacks haven't had any consequence. It's not harsh, it's selective. It's obvious when someone is hacking and then selling it for btb, and I've seen that be let off with just a warning. But I'm done commenting on this post, I don't care what people do. I just hate seeing some people get in trouble for things while others don't. Because then, it because rather difficult to understand which rules actually apply and which don't.

If you suspect it, report it so an investigation can be started. The mods are few and the members are many. It's not selective, and it's hard to prove, to be angry at the mods for not taking action for a simple suspicion is unfair. I have seen someone who was using hacks not only lose all their BTB, they lost their collectibles and be banned for a few weeks. Like I said, there are only a handful of mods and hundreds of members, people will fall through the cracks. To expect that the mods can look into every thread and watch them longer that a few minutes is not only unreasonable, but unrealistic. They not only have lives outside of TBT, they cannot just ban and remove BTB from someone based on a hunch. They need solid proof and enough complaints to do something.

I never said people were stupid for not reading the rules.
I said people are stupid don't take the time to read things, like me not reading the rules.

Also, by saying that my idea was stupid, you are in turn calling me stupid.

You didn't give me an answer, you gave me a guess. That's not an answer.

I'm not responding to anything else on this thread, so dont bother anymore.

I didn't come into this thread to be called stupid... :(

Trundle isn't stupid ;; Trundle has been here so long, he's been around the block and knows what is going on.

It's made very clear in the rules what our stance is on alternate accounts. For everyone in here that has been posting, I'll quote them for you below. If you need a decision explained then it is always easier to just message a moderator who can explain things more thoroughly for you than posting about it on the forums.

Secondly, when you see someone that you believe to be hacking or duplicating items for bells then you need to report them immediately. We're not perfect, and people do slip through the cracks, but the more you report things the better the chances are that the rule-breakers will be caught and disciplined.
