Accidentally TT'ed one of my dream villagers into moving. Need help!!

Don't worry, you're fine. Just make sure to walk past him (Talk to him if you want, but this isn't necessary at all) every day. He should tell you that he is moving on the 12th again and you will be able to stop him.

As someone who tried this themselves and can tell you the truth, it does not work. You still have to cycle through the 16 villagers. The villager will recognize you, but you will never get the option to take them back.

So you can never get the same exact villager twice, but can you get a copy that you never had contact with before?

You cannot get any "willow" (or any villager) again, whether its the original one or the new one, until you cycle through 16 other villagers in your town.
