Accidentally Deleted My Town The Wrong Way

I want to cry...

I was resetting for a town layout and accidentally chose the "Taking a break" option instead of "I want a new town" and when I was about to turn off the system it was already too late...my whole town got reset.

All 18 million bells and 90% of unlocked PWPs that could go toward my new town completed wiped out.

I am angry with myself and regret not paying close attention to the screen.

Has this ever happened to anyone? I don't know if it's worth playing the game all over again anymore...I am really devastated.

I feel you. I reset the correct way, but I didn’t get a map that I liked and had to reset again and again until the map that I wanted appeared. Didn’t really think my catalog would be wiped out though, but somehow I managed to ruin it and lost all the bells and catalog. The bells I don’t mind too much even though I had soo much with the reset, but the catalog is something that I will miss.

losing your PWP and catalog is really rough this almost happens to me, I asked my brother to reset for me one time and he almost chooses the "I want to take a break" option.
