Anyone into this? It's not nearly as glitched up as I thought it would be. But of course the story is a little lacking again... that's it though right? No more AC? We're free?
I just beat AC: Black Flag recently so I haven't done much of the story yet for Unity. When I played though it definitely glitched up a few times. One time it froze my game and another time the cutscenes were extremely choppy in quality. This is just for the first guy too.
While playing AC: Unity, I watched a named, quest giving NPC lose her identity. It’s from a pretty early side quest line. I think she was a fortune teller. She was giving tasks from out of her home, until I turned in the final one, that is. Once I did, she stood up, walked out the door, and became just another NPC. I followed her around for 10 minutes or so just to see if she would go back but she never did. She walked around, chatted with people, got into an argument with another woman, flirted with a couple of guys, and had her butt squeezed. Weirdly, she didn’t react to combat around her like other NPCs would. She just kept on walking. I might chase a guy for a short sprint, but I could still find her. After I had to run from an encounter while on the walk, I lost her. Out of curiosity, I went back to her house to see if she made it back. Her furniture and any other sign she existed was gone. It was such a dumb moment to stick out to me but I thought it was funny but kinda sad. So talking about it not being glitchy? Well... I've never had that happen before until an Assassins Creed game.
I prefer Black Flag for sure. It was for sure more enjoyable.
Unity on the other hand had so much potential especially since it was during my second favorite time line. It was like AC3. Terrible story.
The COOP isn't that interesting, and the PC port is awful. *I'm running on an i7 and I still dip framerate* Plus, the parkour isn't that great. In my opinion, I think they mess it up. Doing easy things like climbing into a window was hard. xD
Wait AC3 had a terrible story? All of them are kind of terrible if you think about it.
haha The WiiU version has a higher rating than the PC version.
Yah I barely parkour, the enforcements always catch me and then I can't get away from them if I'm swinging on rooftops. It wasnt worth it, more worth it to take a horse.
