AC Switch is coming, how you feel about NL

I don't think I can spend all that money on a Switch so It won't make any difference to me. I still play New Leaf a lot and will continue to do so.

I actually feel like it?s given more of a drive to focus and complete the game (as much as animal crossing can be completed anyway). For the past years I?ve been messing with redecorating my town and house. I?ve never put much effort into catching rare fish or bugs, despite the fact that I?ve only got a couple of each left until my Encyclopedia is complete. And I?ve never put much effort into getting the badges. Knowing that AC switch is coming and that NL will probably sizzle out somewhat when it comes, im determined to put the work in and finish the game.

I, personally am going to give away my NL stuff to people who will continue playing NL, and then move immediately to the switch.

I'll still play NL, I only play once or twice a week now anyway so I probably would do the same when the switch version comes out. I bought another copy earlier this year so I'm still planning to work on that town until it's finished

So yea I went ahead and ordered new leaf can’t wait to start playing it will get here by Saterday

Time is limited because they can kill multiplayer function of this old game in 1-2 years. Not the first time it happened afaik. However, since new 2ds is fairly new and new ac would 90% be switch exclusive I think acnl is safe for a few years

Certain aspects of the game will be gone when they discontinue multiplayer function, but that's not all there is to the game.

Uh...yea you can. Well, I can. But I guess it depends on the size of the purse.
A Switch can't fit in your pocket though. But I never carried my DS in my pocket either.

Edit to add: New Leaf is one of the best games I've ever played. AC Switch isn't gonna change that. If anything it kind of makes me more worried for the Switch version because New Leaf is a tall order of an Animal Crossing game to live up to. For me, the Switch version has to meet or surpass that. I admit I'm both excited and a little worried for the Switch version... AC City Folk failed to live up to Wild World, and was almost a direct port of that game, with a few tweaks and changes. I'm really hoping that this won't happen with Switch version and New Leaf.
