This may have been easy for everyone else, and it is not one of the rare finds, but I would be anxious and get my timing wrong every chance.

Until now, that is.

I am very close to completing the NL encyclopedia, and now I got this only anxious catch out of the way.

That reminds me: I caught two arapaima within seconds of each other yesterday. Wonder if that is as rare as I think.

I HATE BEES. i oftentimes run around shaking trees for furniture, so i encounter them allll too often. i treat it as practice, and while i have gotten better, it is difficult. i always net too early.

at any rate, i've only caught ~2 arapaimas, but i've caught ~8 coelacanths /shrugs. rare things are peculiar.

Open your gate if you want to shake trees and not get stung. Don't forget to close them again after though.

When I shake a tree and bees come out, I run upwards until they're out of sight, then get my net out and stay poised until they're close, then swing my net. I usually get them about 99% of the time, but occasionally I'll miss :')
Congrats on catching one though! They're pretty awkward to get at first!

I was awesome at catching these in PG, I had it down to a SCIENCE! Not so much now though... Only caught one or two.
