? about nook sellign tree saplings

No, you trees will automatically get snow/green leaves etc, and the only variations are normal trees, cedars and pine (from burying coconuts within 7 spaces from the beach)

if you buy a sapling from nook and plant it in the winter, it's not going to just fall over and die when summer gets here, lol. he sells the same trees year yound - they just look different depending on whichever season you're in. winter = snow, fall = multicolored = summer/spring = GREEN!
he sells cedar saplings and regular saplings randomly every day though... i don't really know if i'm understanding this question right, lol.

You can obtain either type of sapling from Nook's Store. It is not limited by seasons. Just maybe by Nook's size - if he's Nook's Cranny only 1 type might be available per day.
