I have been to a couple of peoples' towns who were kind enough to open their gates for a Korean Holiday and a Japanese Holiday.
Are there any holidays that Isabelle does NOT give gifts to visitors? I wonder because when it comes time in my own town I would like to know if I should offer people who may not have certain NA items a chance to get them if they want.
My Main Town is in January, so Groundhog Day is coming up. If I open my gates will visitors all get a Resetti Model? Are certain holiday items "special" to only your own town mayor and characters?
Festivale and the fireworks shows are all I can think of. All you can do with Isabelle during the second one is customize some fireworks by using custom designs, but she doesn't give you anything. Instead Redd has a small shop set up.
I actually didn't know this until I just visited Liquefy's Korean town. I would've loved all the NA items! Of course I would do the same for any EU events that happen here.
I had to stay on Groundhog Day for a few days because of some things IRL. Anyway, I had people over for trades etc, and a few of them got the Resetti Model. My nieces even came back a few times I think and ended up getting one from her each time, if I remember correctly. I think since their days changed, they would come in and be able to collect from me, even though I was still on the same day. Anyway, at least for Groundhog Day, I can verify you'll be able to share.
Thank you, all of you! You have been a huge help. I will make sure to open invites on my NA holidays. I, too, visited Liquefy's town and that's how I got to wonder about the sharing! I could have sworn there was some item you DON'T get from visiting when I visited my nephew's town once...I think it was the New Year's item...but I could be mistaken. All I remember is that at least on one holiday visitors got greeted by Isabelle but no gift.
Even if most people have all the NA items I don't yet, and suspect others may not, either. Regardless, I'll do invites when I get them. I'd rather give people the opportunity than not, even if the item is just a (cool!) pair of ladder sunglasses.
