Able sisters designs?

Hi, i have a question.
I just recently got new horizons, and the able sisters shop opened today. I played new leaf before, and there i could just walk up to mabel to make a custom design. How does this work in new horizons? In the Design app on the nook phone i can only make a picture, a tanktop, facepaint and floor. Anyone knows what i have to do?

You can unlock new things to design with nookmiles at the nookstop terminal in resident services. There are a few different upgrade you can choose. I hope this helps.
