Ability to Access Storage by Visiting Other Towns?

Hello everyone! I hope you are all doing well today!

I'm not to sure how most feel about this, but I for one feel that the lack of being able to get to your storage while at another's town is somewhat... inconvenient? I miss the locker addition they gave us back in NL where we could access our many goods by simply going to the locker to get whatever we needed. It saved me a lot of trips in truth and it was fun as we could constantly play around with an item we wanted with our friends just by going to our lockers to get it.

While this may not be such a big thing in the eyes of most players perhaps, for me, I do miss it and feel it would be a much more convenient addition to the game if they decided to give us lockers back! Does anybody else miss being able to access their inventory while over another's town? Do you think they will add this feature in a future update?

I agree, it is super inconvenient and honestly weird that we can't access our inventory AND our bank account at the host ABD. What were they thinking?? There's been so many times where I've forgotten to bring bells to other people's islands and then there's something I wanna buy lol

Hopefully it's just something they've yet to add in a future update!!

I want to be able to store turnips and DIY recipes, access my storage and use the Nook Machine for ABD purposes and ordering cute Nook Miles items myself. But they didn't want you smuggling too many things between islands in a single trip since this is a highly competitive game (sarcasm).

i definitely agree. i took the locker and ABD for granted in new leaf and i miss it so much. i don’t do many large trades in where i’d require an entire pockets worth of bell bags/items but nintendo definitely needs to give us access to our storage + savings when we’re on someone else’s island. and please, let us store diys in our storage - it makes no sense that i can literally shove a whole lighthouse into my storage but not a measly diy card lmao
