Is the ABD broken, because I'm not getting any interest.

It's annual interest, so you'd have to wait until the New Year rolls around to see an increase.

Edit: My bad, for some reason I thought the OP was referring to the ABD in ACNL.

Some members were abusing the interest system. As a result, the site staff took it down.

I remember back when that happened. I was a new member when the interest system got taken down.

As the other posters have said, it's currently disabled. Staff said they are working on a new interest system but it won't be ready for quite some time.
