I have a third town.

It's new. The only Public Works Projects I've added so far are two bridges. (This is in addition of the first.) I normally would build a campsite; but I haven't done it yet. I found that I can manipulate Villagers Nos. 6, 7, and 8 for my cast of town villagers. (You have to use a move-in human character and be very patient.)

Has anyone gone the route of having a town with no campsite? (And, if so, do you find it was an advantage?)

It could be an advantage not having a campsite. For example, you wouldn't have to worry about its placement and what villagers are in it.

I implemented my campsite ~1 month after I got the game. There's no rush, but honestly a good town should have one.

I got a campsite, but I kind of regret where I put it. x.x

I can see why some people wouldn't want one, though... The stress of not being able to move a villager in because you're full, the stress of figuring out where to put it, etc etc.

I probably wouldnt have built one if you could demolish & rebuild it :/ i thought my campsite was in a great place til a villager decided to move directly above it v___v but whatever lol

I got my town in September and only put in a campsite 2 days ago.
Might've happened sooner if you could demolish it.
