A question on villagers asking to move away..

.. So I have one villager in my town that pings me every so often that they want to move away. This villager I talk to ALL THE TIME, bring her things like perfect fruit and rare bugs, I send her letters and gifts, etc. No other villagers ping me hardly at all! Is there a reason for this? I really don't want my marshmallow hamster to move away!

Your best friends will usually move away the fastest, where villagers you aren't very friendly to will usually stay longer so you can befriend them.

yeah, just walk around to see if anyone pings to move out and if it's her, ask her to stay.

And talk to other villagers until one of them says that heard so and so is planning to move away or just a generic rumor talk (which means no one will move), and then walk around her until she pings so you can tell her to stay.

If she doesn't ping, then save your game, quit and log back on until she pings.

I didn't know about this for the longest time, and that's how I lost O'Hare.
