A question about villager limits

We all know that you can have only ten villagers at maximum, by all means. However, are there any other limits (to those who force villagers out through amiibos)? Like if it’s possible to have all 10 villagers be the same species or to have four or more villagers of the same personality. I know that if you’re letting the game choose for you, you will always be forced to have all eight personalities. But I don’t know if this limit applies to amiibo invites as well.

Just letting you know, I have no intentions of having all ten villagers being the same personality, nor would I have ten villagers of the same species. But I am curious about this.

Not from what I’ve seen. I’ve seen a few people post all-Cat and all-Bunny villages they’ve managed to create. Personality-wise, I believe there’s no limit as well. I have 4 lazy villagers, so at least 4 is possible, haha. But I wouldn’t imagine there to be a limit.
