1. So one aspect of the game I've never really been too bothered about were which villagers I actually have in my town, I thought it gave the game a nice aspect of randomness. I was running around at 7am doing some of my dailies like the money rock & fossil hunting when I decided to talk to Poppy. She commented that she had heard from a rumor that Rizzo was going to move away and I should go ask him about it. However, he isn't actually awake yet so I can't actually ask him. Basically I just wanted to know from person experience if these 'rumors' are always true or if there is a chance it is just that, a rumor. :)

It is always true. If you want to keep him, you'll want to talk to him in the morning. That or time travel back a few hours to when he was awake. If you talk to him in the morning, you run the risk that it might be his moving day and you won't be able to keep him if his furniture is in boxes.

Thank you so much for the fast reply! I probably sound rude but thats finally some good news after me being so sick for a few days :D I was never that interested in Rizzo so him moving out to a home which would treat him better is probably for the best. I'll see him when he wakes up in around 30 minutes to see if theres a chance I could offer him to someone else if they want him.

I'll presume you are on the same day (or the next day) of when you were told by Poppy Rizzo was moving.
These rumours are true, its the game mechanic to let you know you have a potential mover.

You don't need to TT (I'm not sure what effect that would have, given you would be going back to the day before) - talk to Rizzo with your Mayor or an alt when he wakes up.
You have to let him ping you (I think) to get the moving speech. If he's in his house save & reload (maybe an hour or so later) and he should be outside.

As you haven't got, by the sound of it high friendship with Rizzo you have the chance of when you tell him to go, that he will stay to work on your friendship!

If you want him to leave after he has said he thinks he will stay - I think the advice is to leave the game without saving - and when you reload, don't talk to him at all (ie don't take his pings) - he should then leave. BUT I'm not sure - no personal experience.

You have plenty of time to see him before he leaves (ie to say whether you want him to stay or not) - the WA update I think gives a 10 day lee way - ie he won't be in boxes for 9 to 10 days? Need confirmation from other players.

Edit: to offer him to another player, he needs to be in boxes (so he will be in his house) - they have to come & talk to him then & he should agree to move to their town if they have 9 villagers or less.
