So in case you somehow missed the multiple posts where I mention the fact that I'm a trans man... Well, now you know. :p

And with that out of the way, here's the "positivity" that I promised:

So obviously, being trans can be really difficult. Even if you somehow magically avoid discrimination, there's still the whole "mind-body-mismatch" that can cause a lot of mental stress. And sometimes that stress is just too much to keep bottled up inside of you.

And while I'd love to just be able to vent about it here on this site, I know that most of the members here are cis (in other words; not trans), and probably won't understand what I'm going through or know what kind of advice that they should be giving me.

In addition, there's also times where it may be a bit too "TMI" for this site..

So for those reasons, I finally decided to join a site that's centered around trans people - where they can talk about coming out, learn about what transition options there are, hear stories - both positive and negative - about how others lives have changed since they transitioned.. There's even a section for family members and partners of trans people, where they can ask for advice and learn about what their significant others are going through.

Basically, it's just a really handy site for trans related stuff, and it's also the second site (after this one) where I'm actually out as a trans man. So HOORAY! :p

And on top of that, I just read a reply that someone left to the introduction post I made on that site that said that my introduction is "probably their favorite intro ever". :D So that definitely made me feel good.
