A New Start

I just started playing Animal Crossing today, after a break for a few months. I started a new town and everything (might post pics and stuff later).

I'm just looking for some advice and tips and stuff for the game, since I'm just getting back into it. If it's any help, all I've done in my town is pay my down payment and do the little "quests" to get the watering can.

One piece of advice I can give you is, don't put down paths till all ten are moved in. Nothing worse than a villager ruining your hard work.

Also put public works projects in places where you don't want villagers to move. I put a few near my house, so my view is clear.

If you like landscaping your town- or would like to- then start hoarding flowers, axes and bushes. Trust me, it's worth it.
