A Lucky Grab on the GTS.

I dislike the GTS. Slightly less after this.

OK, a couple of minutes ago, I was just chillin. I'm looking for Roserade(and have been for a couple of days.) Suddenly, I get the message, "The Pokemon you deposited was traded!"
I had put in a Pidgeot in the GTS to trade for a medicham. No level, no gender requirements, nothing but a Medicham. I thought I wouldn't get a answer in at least a day.
So when I saw that message, I was like, "Well. That Pokedex entry is finished."
But when I see the Pokemon..?

A Level 100, Jolly, Pure Power, 6IV, Male, SHINY MEDICHAM.

Let's just say that cheered me up since I had just had a 30 Skiddo chain broken by a Gulpin.

if a pokemon that good is asking for a common pokemon, it's probably a trade off.

But didn't the OP put their Pokemon up, so the Shiny Medicham owner made the choice for going with that trade? That would mean he/she didn't snipe it...

I had that happen to me on gen 4, I used to have to go down to the maccas a few towns away (I live in the middle of no where hence no internet) and therefore very rarely got on the GTS. I always made a point of leaving something there when I had the chance though.

One day I was going through the drive through and thought hey! better check the GTS, can't even remember what I left in there. Next thing I know, someone has sent me a shiny Golbat! I used that Crobat in my party for the rest of that gen LOL

I haven't completed my entire pokedex, I just need like 7 pokemon from central kalos. Nim done with coastal, though.
