A Cranky Villager?

I prefer Kabuki but if we're going with less popular, then I'd say Camofrog (adorable!), Static (also cute), Hamphery (he's an angry hamster so I find that funny) and Gaston (just look at that 'stache!)

Mind telling me how to Camp Reset? I actually don't know how.

Set your in game clock to tomorrow at 5:58Am that will give you time to save and go to the title screen
At 6:00am you create a new character
Then you go to your camp, no camper = power off. And create a new character again until you get one.
You'll need to repeat the process until you get the villager you want, like if you want Apollo you reset your camp until you get him, if you lets say find muffy in your camp reset because it's not apollo, he'll eventually get on the camp, for me it took about 5 hours to get beau in my other town worth of resetting but it's totally worth the time and effort you put into resetting.
Or you could just go a full day without playing then the next day create a character on the start screen.
My advice i personally use: when the day is almost over i go into the ds clock and make it go back a few hours to equal what would be 6-7am in AC time so i have time to sleep and all without having villagers move the next day or something and becausee some days ARE REALLY high chance of a camper than others. Then when i'm sure the villager is moved in i carefully start correcting the clocks.

KINDA long explination but it's detailed also what i do when i reset, i multi task so i when im creating the character i'm not bored. and when you have apollo just make a house for that character save, load the mayor ask it to move in, then delete the other character unless you make it a pathway mule then you don't have to

I read that you already had Lobo, who I was going to recommend... I also love Static and Tom. They're both cuties, and they're not too unpopular or popular, you should be able to find both of them in cycling threads, probably not on auto-void.

i suggest rolf
i had him and evven though his house wwas kinda strange he wwas really nice and i like his design a lot

Why set it to 5:58? thats stupid
as long as you dont log on after 6am on your character on a new day, you can plot reset at 4pm, 5pm anytime
i just plot reset when i wake up lol.. no need to make it back to 6am..

What if you already played at 4pm and feel like camper resetting? It's not so stupid to jump ahead to 5:58am if you don't want to wait until the next day IRL.

Monty! He's a cute snow monkey and I don't think that he's very popular, so you could probably snag him from a giveaway.

Knox was close to becoming a dreamy, because he's so lovable. His design is cool, too. I'd recommend him. ^-^

Maybe he won't hold as much value for you, but I'd choose Roscoe. He was in my very first Animal Crossing town ever (in City Folk), and he was my favorite villager. I've never had him in any other game, but if I do end up getting another copy of New Leaf, I might just try to get him.

As to why you should get him, his house is really cool (if you like the modern set, which I really do). Plus, he's a black horse with red eyes. How could you not like him?

Chief is rather cute, and he's a wolf, which automatically makes him cool. There's also Bruce, if you prefer deer, but I believe he's a rather popular cranky villager. I also like Butch, as I had him on my City Folk town. Whenever I saw him he was always watering flowers, believe it or not ❤︎ Elvis is rather cool, and I love how he's 'The King' (staying true to his name!) with his royal shirt or whatever it's called. Fang is also very popular, which can be a downside, but he's also very cute as well :3 You could go for Hamphrey if you want to try out a new villager, or even Rooney, although his colour palette is too bright for my liking. Kabuki is a good choice if you prefer the more out-there designs, or Octavian if you're fond of the octopi family. There's always Rasher, who I find rather iconic, perhaps because I had him in both Wild World and City Folk, and so I see him as the classic cranky villager. Rolf and Roscoe are kind of cool looking, as is Rowan. Static reminds me of Pachirisu from Pokemon, so if you like Pokemon, perhaps go for him? Tom is another option if you like cats. My personal favourite is Wolfgang, but then again he is a dreamy of mine, so I'm a bit biased.

My personal favorites are Lobo, Kabuki, and Static. :)

Octavian is always a good choice as well, and I really enjoyed Roscoe when I had him in my cycling town.

Personal favorites, though there are many, are...Octavian, Apollo, kabuki, curt, lobo, Rolf,...and del. :)

Butch, Elvis, or Gaston! I feel like the lower tiers are harder to get though because no one really sells them. You gotta stalk the cycling threads... I also love the wolves Lobo, Fang, Wolfgang, and Chief... I got Fang through streetpass.
