A 24-hour gap between camping and moving in?

I just want to make 100% sure that I don't sign into my main account and see Hopper's plot in my town. I just tried making a new character to scout for his house plot, and I don't see one. It's been awhile since someone new has moved in, and I wanted to know if Hopper will move in tomorrow rather than today (I asked him to move in yesterday).

Phew. Okay. I think I should be safe then since his plot didn't show up for my new character. :x

It's been so many months since I've had to move someone in (since October). I've forgotten! lol! Thanks!

You can always save the new character and delete it later to be safe =x
