>_< Plot resetting new town keep getting SHEP!!!

I reset one of my towns and I have started a new character up 11 times now. Every single blasted time I run around the town the plot for the house has moved, but the villager is always the same.

Shep.

Am I royally screwed here? He is the first villager after starting anew! Shouldn't I get different villagers? I did NOT adopt him and I did have him in my old town, but why is he haunting me now?

Am I just unlucky? I have tried turning the 3DS off and then back on. And it was just now Shep AGAIN.

Please - anybody else have this happen? I hope that by posting this that I -

a. learn something new
b. get a different villager so I don't feel cursed

If you keep getting Shep after resetting multiple times, you might have got him from streetpass / other town void D:

You can bypass getting Shep though, I did it one time when I almost got a voided Prince.
To avoid Prince I TTed back to the exact day before the plot scheduled to appear, and then I adopted another villager from my cycling town. By doing so Prince was overwritten and replaced by the new villager I adopted

CRAP!!! I got him from myself from another town, DARN IT!!!

I've now gotten him for the 16th time. I am so MAD!!! I don't have someone else I like better to adopt, tho. I was hoping so much to plot reset for Marshal and now I got the SMUG SHEP.

I'll look at that thread, Laudine. You are an angel! I probably can't save myself, tho. I reset and reset and got 5 starters and a map I adore to pieces, and then THIS. Shep. No chance for Marshal. Or Julian.

This game hates me.

*pats your back* If Shep's plot is still moving around/ his house is not built yet, I think TTing back would be worth a try. At least you can adopt another villager so you won't see Shep anymore ;v;

Or if all means fail you can always kick him out later and then try to reset for another smug!

I do have Marshal and another Julian in my cycling town (yes Julian again! He seems to follow me everywhere I go @_@), so let me know if you want any of them

Honestly I think it's cool you get to have an old villager- unless you didn't like him
Either way, you can always move him out- not a huge deal.

I did dodge the Shep bullet, thanks to you! I went back a day, found Deirdra on the Villager Trading Plaza, and got her instead. I did get Tiffany by random chance in the meantime, but I still have a couple spaces left and no Shep, thank goodness! If you have a Marshal you are willing to sell me, I'd love to get him. TBT bells? IG? Let me know. I'd love to have him since I hoped to get him as part of this reset deal.

Oh wait, I see you have tons of TBT bells. Unless you want more, that is.
