8th villager?

so i’m at the point in the game where i need to build my last four plots of land to fill my island. the campsite has been built and i invited my first camper to move in, and today he’s on the island but still unpacking in his home. i built my first 10k plot, and invited Erik to move in through a mystery island tour (as my 7th villager). then i built my second plot, but when i went on a tour there was no villager on the island..

do i have to wait until tomorrow to invite my 8th villager? and if so, that second plot that i placed won’t autofill will it?

You can only get one villager from a mystery island per day, after you invite one, you won't see any more. I can't recall whether or not it immediately autofills though.

awe man i wish i had known before placing that plot oh well, i was able to visit someone and ask Shep to move in, so at least i won’t have to worry about the plot auto-filling anymore!
