This end other the world stuff again? What makes this time any riper for it than we were in the past? There have been theory after theory about it and none have yet happened.

Really everyone has their own personal end of the world it is called death. Why everyone seems to think the rest of the world is going down with them is beyond me. As far as I can see right now our race will be able to survive a lot, we have proven to be adaptable enough to have people live in Antarctica, we are at a time when people start guessing at how we can spread to other planets. I really doubt we will get killed off on this planet before that.

i recently heard that scientists are thinking about or planning to send algae to mars and let it colonize somewhere somehow since like they say 60% of our oxygen on earth comes from algae... so by the time the sun gets to the size where we would be almost like mercury, we'd start sending people to mars to live there. but even then, the sun's going to explode... so we'll just turn into pluto after a while.

Wouldn't the sun's super nova take Mars down with it as well?

it would yes, but there would be a few million/billion years we'd be safe on mars mapping out where we could go from there during that time (according to the loldiscovery channel).
