I had bought a used game and the return policy for used games is within 7 days you can return it for a full refund so I used the refund money to get a second copy of acnl with like some cash remainder.

used games probably go for 20 or less, i saw an acnl copy unused for 30 at gamestop a couple of weeks ago! also target was selling them for 15 a piece awhile back, maybe you can see if that offer still stands? good luck!
