5th Ordinance?

So personally I find the ordinances a little limiting choice wise. I found myself wondering - if you could design a 5th ordinance, what would it do and what would you call it?

I haven't quite decided for myself but wanted to ask this community what you guys thought - because lets face it; most of you guys have really thoughtful intriguing ideas about this game...
 
Be able to choose villager placement/kick out a villager you don't want? Is that allowed as an ordinance?

Personally, I like the Beautiful Tow Ordinance as I have a lot of flowers in my town. If Nintendo makes watering flowers easier in the next game, and ordinances are a feature (I hope so), then I would want the one I stated above.
 
What would you call it? I say its totally allowed as a potential ordinance if you can think up a good name for it :P
 
An 'Anything Goes' Ordinance, where I could.. for example.. push Miserabelle off a cliff.. or have Wolfgang publically flogged every time he asks for an apple.

A day for the mayor to blow off steam.

Then when it's over, (we bury the bodies) all is forgiven!

Lol... That's such a Game Of Thrones meets ACNL answer... I love it! I don't know if I'd use it personally... Although putting a certain villager who refuses to leave through their paces would certainly be cathartic from time to time...

THE FOOD ORDINANCE

In the food ordinance...

-More foods

-Options to bake and cook

-Grocery Stores

-Restaurants

-Backyards

-Gardening

-Ability to physically eat food at a dining table
 
I would like to have multiple ordinances as you progress, like maybe as you get more PWPs built you can add ordinances.

I would also like moving ones, that kept Villagers from moving out or random void Villagers from moving in. And definitely one that allowed you to control where move ins plot down, but maybe that could be a PWP that had set move in spots.
 
A Designer Ordinance

-More design spaces for qr codes
-More furniture items for sale in the store
-It would be cool if they could incorporate HHD in there somewhere with that (idk how but they could)

that sorta thing I think would be fun for those of us who really enjoy the interior decorating aspect of the game. They could even advance it to exterior as well with more exterior options at Nook's.
 
I can't really think of anything, but I wish grass erosion would stop with the beautiful town ordinance. That way, you could stop the erosion, but players who like natural paths could still have them.
 
How about something like a "Forever Home" ordnance where villagers rarely if ever think of moving? It would make keeping your dreamies a ton easier :)

I reckon that should be an option.

When they move in, have an option at town hall that you can change, "Can Move Out" or "Permanent Resident".
 
Why can?t we have more than one ordinance?

I would love to have a late nights beautiful town.

And if you enact a beautiful town all the grass should turn FULLY VIVID GREEN and only
Then if you worked really hard you could make paths.

I want really green grass in my towns. Grass wear is still such a frustration since City Folk.
 
I would love to have a town expansion ordinance, where all the options from HHD become available in New Leaf. We could build cafes, schools, hotels, hospitals, etc. We could design outside! And we could help our villagers design their houses! No more waiting in agony to be invited over just to remove that one piece of furniture that's messing up your villager's decor. Sick villagers would come back into the game, and would have to go to the hospital for whatever is wrong with them. Villagers from other towns would stay in the hotel and you could recommend that they visit your town and convince them to move there, instead of just one random villager that you get in the campsite every once and again like we have now. The cafe would serve food that lazy villagers always talk about eating. The school would have villagers teaching you about how to do stuff around town instead of getting the same conversations over and over about the camera and rocks and tools like we have now...

Anyway that's what I would want. I hope they do all that stuff for the next version of AC but I doubt it.
 
I'm fine with having multiple ordinances. Wish I could have a beautiful town and night owl at the same time (without the need for TTing whenever I missed the shops).

I wish it was like WW.

I'm sure everything shut fairly late.

I wouldn't mind Night Owl, but I like things to open early.

They should scrap both of those, and just open early, and close late.
