My island is natural themed, and I find that mushrooms are brilliant for this. I collected a ton of extras during mushroom season and just scattered them about everywhere, and I think they really add to that woodland look

Not necessarily natural, but star fragments look really good in many forest areas. Other items I use are the decoy duck, bug models, smaller fossils, and anything wooden, really. I think the key is to create depth within the design.

i think using certain fences can look really good, especially the barbed wire fence and the country fence! decorating with weeds can also be nice, though it really helps to put something on the ground around them to make sure they don't grow out of control - i usually use flowers, furniture, or a transparent pattern. i also like using lost items that i forget to return, like the little pink sachels.
