So after 2 weeks (almost 3) of playing and 200+ hours of gameplay, I surprisingly got 5-stars lol tbh I wasn't really expecting it since my island is a HUGE WIP, I haven't even touched my Island Designer App that much yet (only in the 1st day I touched it, made a waterfalls, then removed it, then placed paths and dirt patches for my hybrid flowers, then that's it) but one time I was strolling in my island doing my dailies and found this on the cliff:
And I was not really focused on getting my island to 5-stars atm and I don't check on Isabelle for evals (just found that I have 5-stars because of the Lily of the Valley), has anyone got a same experience? My island is back at 4-stars tho because of the turnips lol
In NL I only realized I finally got to a perfect town once I found one of these! In NH however I was just trying to check if I had too many trees and Isabelle told me the I had a 5 star island lol. Was still a really nice surprise!
Congrats!! I was shocked to get 4 star rating because my island felt underdeveloped. I still dont know how that happened, but it was a nice feeling so i am not complaining.
Congrats! I felt the same way when I was terraforming and I saw a lily of the valley, it shocked me when I got 5 stars even though my island is a mess.
Thanks, it's always more fun to just play the game and not worry about the ratings and such because as you progress, you'll just get there eventually, so it was really a pleasant surprise to get there without expecting too much! Congrats on you 5-stars as well
i had the exact same experience! didn’t expect five stars at all since i had diy recipes strewn around and only half of my island was finished; the lily of the valley was a pleasant surprise <3
If it helps the Island Designer App features have no effect on your island rating. It is all about trees, flowers, furniture, fences, bridges/inclines, weeds, and trash.
Same here! I was just kind of decorating my island, little section by little section. Then, the day after I finished my boardwalk, suddenly a lily of the valley appeared! I honestly loved finding out that way. Made it feel like such a fun surprise! Especially after I kinda did the opposite to get my 3 star rating because I wanted to unlock terraforming really badly. Just threw down a bunch of manholes and kept checking in with Isabelle. This way was definitely preferable!
